RecommendedGerman bakery at it's best
I only recommend this bakery for their awesome baked goods & pies... definitely NOT for their customer service. This was my 1st being there (I was from OOT), and the short gray headed lady acted bothered when I asked a question! She was not nice at all, not even at the check out to say Thank You! I’m glad the young man working there was able to help grab the pie I wanted from behind the glass counter... it was not busy at all FYI, but the gray head lady apparently did not want to help anyone. Everything!!! Especially, the flavored breads: Cherry, etc. Yum!
Kenneth treats his employees very bad!! He screamed at my daughter (only 19- his employee) in front of customer and was degrading her!!! I asked witnesses about the incident and they agreed he was extremely hateful and acting like a bully! Other employees said that he treats employee hateful and yells at the as well! When I spoke to the Owner he did not seem very concerned with the mistreatment of my daughter! Not to mention who would take that abuse especially at $9 an hour!

The gray haired lady cashier was not friendly yesterday. She lacks customer service skills. When a customer makes a transaction, it is customary to say "thank you" and "come back soon". She did neither. She could also smile occasionally. I felt like I had interrupted her day.

Several years ago I bought some bread that was supposed to be cheesy. When I ate some it was full of jalapeños. It had been mislabeled. I waited a few years but was passing by so stopped again. I bought a “blueberry” muffin only when I starting eating it turned out it was banana! Mislabeled! Also bought 2 fried pies. Crust was bland, had no flavor and had a terrible texture. Arbuckle’s fried pies are 100 times better.
