Rum 138 was amazing. The owner Doug was so knowledgeable about every spring on the Santa Fe River. The kayak was comfortable and easy to manouver (13ft for 2 person). Doug picked us up promptly to shuttle us back and he was very personable, and gave us a good history of the area. The Sunday funday was indeed a lot of fun, with live music and food. If you need kayak rental/shuttle Doug and Rum 138 is the best!
Friendly, professional outfitters, a great store, and the owners are staunch water advocates in the springs region. What's not to like? Rum 138 is my go-to outfitter for the Santa Fe.

My family and friends did a magical moonlight paddle, beautiful. Rum 138 took care of everything, canoes, etc., and shuttle, on time, prepared, professional, and super nice.
I had such a great time canoeing here! One of the best parts was being able to bring all three of my dogs with me — they loved it just as much as I did. The staff was awesome, knowledgeable, and very friendly, which made the whole experience even better. Everything was well organized, and I felt welcomed from the moment I arrived. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a fun and dog-friendly adventure on the water!
