Rule of Pie's sweets and story are too good to be true, and yet they are true, and so this is just the best kind of good and best kind of truth. So excited for Rule of Pie to set the standard for pies and desserts everywhere, and become a Southern Illinois staple (or should I say "Stapel") :D

My name is Jeremy Oster and I project manage. I see a project and I manage it. It's what I do. But I am convinced that after eating this pie, one cannot manage his or her love for it. You eat the pie and then you love the pie. That's how it happens. The pie is the project. And you do not manage it. It renders your affections unmanageable. So here I am, defeated. This pie, victorious. Reign on, Rule of Pie. Reign on.

I, a self-proclaimed foodie for many years, cook and bake because my standards and expectations are pretty high. Upon tasting pie, made by the very hands of Rule of Pie's proprietress and pastry chef, I discovered I knew not how to make the perfect pie. Her skills belie her years. Not one to exaggerate, I tell you unequivocally, she makes the best pies. I am so glad to have this shop open. They were born here, and they're committed to the people of this region. How great is that? I'd say it's pretty freaking great.
