I have been waiting for almost two weeks to get my prescription refilled. After myself and the pharmacy trying to contact his office numerous times his office has not notified me or the office.
Yes, Dr Ruiz is a happy man. My husband was satisfied with Dr. Ruiz...though I asked him to find another doctor when Mrs. Dr. Ruiz sent me home with a paper recap of my appointment stating I had chronic kidney failure (wrong) and I needed to exercise more (I play tennis 5x a week, hike and walk regularly) and I need to loose weight (I weigh 110lbs). I really enjoy the fact that Dr. Ruiz comes in and spends time sitting and talking with you and takes the time to listen. He explains things well and I’ve never had to wait more than 10 or 15 minutes which I like. The back office staff is friendly and made me feel comfortable. The front office staff I feel could work on being welcoming and greeting people when they first walk in. I would recommend this Dr to anyone.
He is a very personable doctor, knowledgeable, my only real complaint is the 2-3 months to get an appointment. Im one that waits to see the doctor because i don't like to complain about pain. and when its reaches that point 2-3 month wait to see him is a bit much. but that is more front of the office issue then the actual care i suppose. almost like the receptionist don't care. makes this great doctor look bad.
Horrible front office staff to begin with. Sandra rude could not care. I was called in for test results. They did not have all my results. I was charged for a office visit. I asked him to take a look at both of my issues related to my test results. He would not look at them at all. My 15 minutes were up. I ended up in the hospital a few days later. Every time my prescriptions were due for refills it took at least 5 days for them to contact the pharmacy.
Dr. Ruiz is a very happy and polite man. Always cheery and easy to talk to about anything. Very knowledgable and not egotistical when he feels you need a specialist. The staff is very nice and easy to work with. I highly recommend.
A rude man Just churning out patients for the money
