While Dr Fernandes is wonderful, his office and scheduling will put him out of business. My daughter was diagnosed with one of her reoccurring jaw cysts November 2023 and wasn't able to see Dr Fernandes until February 2024. He confirmed the needed removal and they still have not scheduled it even after multiple calls and requests. I guess they are waiting until it eats her whole jaw.
Dr Fernandez and his staff are the very best. I had one operation for my thyroid and the other doctor knowingly left cancer. My oncologist sent me to Dr. Fernandez and he removed the tyroid and cancer and hooked me up with a great endocrinologist.
I have cancer in my left thigh and so far my experience with him and this office has been HORRIBLE . My first time meeting him he told me i was a favor case that he normally does not take care of the kind of cancer I have. Next the people that work in his office have been nothing but rude and unprofessional everytime I call. There is zero communication with these people. I was referred to Dr. Fernandes by Dr. Williamson Ratliff of Gainesville, Fl. following a biopsy indicating cancer in my left lower jaw. I was reluctant to go to a teaching hospital for such a serious surgery, but Dr. Ratliff convinced me that Dr. Fernandes was the "best in the business!" I'm so glad I followed his advice.
