Puppy chewed corner of expensive fine Persian rug beyond the fringe and into weave. Repaired to absolute perfection. I can’t even find where the damage occurred. What more can I say as an endorsement.
Mert restored my great grandmother's 120 yr old fine rug to a quality and vibrancy i could never have imagined after years of neglect. He was knowledge, caring and incredibly reasonably priced. They picked up and delivered as promised, total pros. 100% fantastic experience. Enthusiastically recommend!!!
When my beautiful vintage rug arrived from overseas, my initial excitement was doused by its musty, chemical smell. I’m not sure how exactly to explain it, but the rug filled the room with a pungent unpleasantness. No amount of vacuuming the front and backsides, leaving the windows open, nor running an air purifier did the trick to dissipate the overwhelming odor. Thank goodness for Mert and Aidan! Highly recommended! NB: the small number of review is misleading since Merk moved and it was very well regarded already (with plenty of positive reviews) when the business was at another address. For extremely reasonable price, Merk and his business cleaned my Kazakh rugs well and were extremely friendly and accomodating for pick-up/delivery/payment and in general for any communications. I contacted this company to clean and repair a 5 x 8 Persian rug I own. It had accumulated a great deal of dust from some alteration work being performed in our apartment building, and the ends of the rug were starting to unravel, thread by thread.
