Dr. Nair is the best and took care of both of my kids. He really understands sports injuries and is very responsive. He is great at explaining things and making you feel comfortable. One of my kids had a hip-flexor issue which resolved and my other an ACL injury. He worked with the hospital my insurance, sent letters and did it all. This process is crazy but he made it all work and is a great sports doctor (and a nice person too)!
Dr. Nair is my hero. As a weekend warrior and fitness junkie, I had suffered a significant hamstring tendon injury. Because I am not an elite athlete, I could very easily have been temporized by my providers to wait out the healing process of 6mo-1y without clear expectations of recovery. There are probably not enough words to describe how much I appreciate Dr. Nair. Our 14 year old daughter suffered a knee injury and ended up having surgery. It was her first time. It was very hard to see her go through that. He was informative, helpful, thoughtful to our anxiety and always, always, ALWAYS there to answer questions every step of the way. My daughter fell and was referred to an orthopedic specialist by the immediate care. Dr. Nair’s Naperville location accommodated her for a same day evaluation and we were treated wonderfully. Thank you to Dr. Nair and the entire staff for all of your help. We will happily pass along referrals to her fellow athletes.
I am martial artist and I got injured during the tournament with torn ACL and flipped meniscus tear. I met Dr. Niar and he explained in details what needs to be done for me to recover 100%. The meniscus part was completely ripped and the Doctor had to stitch it together. The surgery was really advanced and difficult (3 hr). Dr. Niar performed a surgery to its best.
