Fav place for beignets!
We told the owner that we drove all the way from California for his beignets! He was so sweet and gave my husband, daughter and myself each a sample plate! We thought they were better than cafe du Monde in New Orleans! Plus he can juggle! Definitely go here for your beignets if you are in Baton Rouge!
The begniets here are the BEST in town!! And the owner is a delight! This is a must-visit--a local gem!
This cafe serves the most delicious, fresh beignets—crispy outside, soft inside, and perfectly dusted with powdered sugar. But the real star is Mr. Yen! He’s incredibly kind, always welcoming, and even sneaks in extra beignet. His generosity makes every visit special.
One of the BEST places for true New Orleans style beignets! The place is adorable and a perfect place for dessert. And for an additional bonus, you get food and a show, as the owner juggles!!! He’s awesome!!! If you haven’t tried this place yet, you need to go asap!
