I strongly recommend avoiding Rudy’s Auto Help (Nick Rudy). My experience was frustrating, costly, and deeply frightening. In early October 2024, I contacted Nick Rudy for vehicle repair. He appeared helpful, offered guidance on sourcing a replacement engine, and requested an $800 Venmo advance after I arranged delivery. My car was towed to the shop at the end of October 2024. Worst experience ever at Rudy’s Auto Help. Took my truck in for servicing. There was an issue I needed help diagnosing, but he couldn’t figure it out. Instead of being straight with me, he wanted to charge an outrageous amount for something he couldn’t even find or fix. Total waste of time and money. Nick was great to work with! He was prompt and honest when dealing with my alternator which needed to be replaced. Thanks Nick!
Car was running rough and stalling at intersections. I told him over the phone that I only had 65 bucks to my name. He said bring it over anyway. 15 minutes later my leaking vacuum hose was fixed. Then he checked my oil. Not even on the stick. 3 quarts of oil later and I was on my way. 30 bucks! Rudy’s gets all my business and my friends’ business from now on.
Nick Rudy was able to replace an alternator at a much better cost than the dealership and was also able to repair a window issue that the the dealership was not able to fix. And he did this all this in less than a couple of hours. Great work!
