I was transferred from a different hospital ER to SBMC. Dr Bowen and the team were waiting for me. He put in a stent on each side from my bladder to each kidney. Kidney stones are still there but that’s a problem for a different day.
I connected with him immediately, he is a good man and doctor.
Educate yourself on what your options are. He gave me hope and performed a surgery with only an 8% success rate where most people have to return in a year to have it done again rather than send me to reconstructive for a 90% success rate and a true fix, not some patch job. Very frustrated as I trusted him based on what others said and his personality. Ill always educate myself for now on.
