The food was good. The service was less than stellar. I asked questions about the menu and the server was unable to answer them: Can I get country ham? I don't know if we have it. (They do.) What's on the home fries? Nothing. (not true - peppers, onions, etc.). I ordered eggs over medium. They were fried hard. When I complained about the home fries, he said, "This is my first time working breakfast. I've worked lunch and dinner the last 12 years.". TWELVE YEARS? And he doesn't know the menu? Food is always great, service is good and the outdoor deck is great! Never a bad experience here!
I am so glad Ruddy Duck is open and continuing to do dinner! We went for our anniversary. boyfriend has the crispy roasted duck which was delicious, perfectly crispy, chili sauce to die for, and I cleaned my plate of the nights special- golden tile fish fillet with grits, roasted vegetables and beurre Blanc sauce. oh MAN it was fantastic! everything I've ever had hers has been fantastic. this is one of my favorite restaurants in NC and it never disappoints!

Love the jambalaya! Delicious. Not a huge out door dining area but its very nice, Pretty view! Can’t wait to come back. The inside is very nice also. Reminds me of the beach theme restaurants back home :) friendly waitress. Great hospitality
