I had the whole fried red fish with rice and black beans. It was delicious! I always get fish tacos and nachos, but I told myself I was going to try something different. Looking forward to next time!
Love this place! Consistently excellent food and service.
We love this place and never had a bad experience here. The food is always good and the wait staff is friendly and attentive. We usually get seafood but this time we had the Sante Fe turkey sandwich, which was amazing! There is no question whether we will be back again. 😊
Most awesome food and people in Morehead!!! Look forward to always coming here. Hatteras style Clam Chowder is the best anywhere in Eastern NC!!!
We love The Ruddy Duck for a lot of reasons!;) Top notch quality fresh ingredients! Local seafood! Innovative flavor combinations and a vibrant, welcoming atmosphere! We were talking to a couple from Michigan, in Italy, when they stunned us by declaring the fish tacos are their favorite thing to eat at The Ruddy Duck! Best seafood ever! Had fried flounder and fried shrimp, they couldn't have been more fresh or tasty. Waitress was very sweet and super efficient. Will visit whenever we're in town!

We drive from New Bern just to eat here. The food and staff have never disappointed!!!
We love this place! We sometimes come two or three days in a row when visiting the coast. The food is creative and delicious, the atmosphere warm and inviting and the conviviality of the staff and guests is wonderful.
