Great food, great atmosphere, & great service. I fly into NC once a year & the Ruddy is always on my list for a visit.
The staff was excellent and GREAT food will definitely visit again highly recommended to you

First time here. Liked it alot. Sat outside on water. Waitress was very friendly.
Saw this lovely place on an episode of House Hunters on HGTV and so happy we sought it out. Delicious food, and even though they were busy, for very good reason (yum!), our food was out quickly, everything was as ordered and more than we expected. The servers and hostesses were all professional and welcoming. Highly recommend! Atmosphere was exceptional.
Atmosphere cozy, great water views, and gluten free shrimp burger with fries was delicious! Will definitely be back �
The food is always excellent here and the service as well. We ate outside and it was wonderful. The only problem was a wobbly table lol.
They had a large selection of food choices. I was very surprised when I walked in. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but is beautifully done on the inside. With polished wood, old antiques. It looked more like a kind of upscale restaurant than a tavern. The food prices were reasonable and the food was good. The quantities are large, at least from what we experienced. Food was good and a good value for the money. The Tuna sandwich is to die for. Even my picky eater 6 year old cleaned her plate and started on mine.
