We always go out of our way to dine at the Ruddy Duck Tavern when we are near the coast. The service, atmosphere, and food are awesome!

Another great evening at the RDT - when we come over to Jacksonville NC from the UK we always make time for a trip. Took family there this evening and were superbly looked after by Lexi.
The atmosphere is wonderful. The server was extremely knowledgeable. She went over all the daily specials and helped to narrow my choices into the great meal that I enjoyed. I had the cup of clam chowder (clear broth) and the fish of the day tacos. Today’s fish was Mahi Mahi and the grilled Mahi was amazing. The clam chowder was filled with bacon, potatoes and clams.
