It may have hotel in the name, but it is more of a 3 story motel. It is right in downtown which is nice, but what is it is the train tracks that are literally right next to the "Hotel". The rooms are very basic and have limited lighting options that are not very bright. There is parking for guests, an open upper level and a garage basement level with very odd and narrow slots.
Jade was very helpful at check in and so lovely during our stay. The only reasons for 4 stars instead of 5 are: the bathroom could’ve been a lil more cleanly in my opinion. At night cartoons are projected against the wall in the parking lot and the included breakfast burrito down the street was lovely! All in all, conveniently located to the great restaurants and cocktail bars in town! I will be keeping the Steam Plant and the other hotels in the same parent company in mind the next time I find myself in Spokane.
Smell like in restroom
Its a good hotel. You can park your car right next to your room if youre on the 1st floor. The free morning breakfast options at Rosie's are good and its only a 1 block walk. They play classic cartoons on the wall in the parking lot in the evenings with a projector. Its right downtown and very easy to get to from the freeway. The only down side is that its literally right next to the train tracks so if thats not something you actually enjoy then you may not love the location but they do provide ear plugs for those light slee... read more
