The very sweet hostess informed us when we walked into the 2/3 EMPTY restaurant that the kitchen was forcing her to tell everyone there was a 10-15 minute wait, presumably because they were overrun… from the nearly empty restaurant. After waiting for 15 minutes, standing in the entry, she said she’d check and see if she could seat us. Bless her heart, she then came out and informed us it was STILL A 20 MINUTE WAIT! We finally gave up and left. I felt terrible for the hostess, but the whole situation was ridiculous!!
It took nearly 2 hours to have a "quick lunch" and a full hour of the experience was waiting for our server to acknowledge us to ask for the check. I would normally be understanding, but she only had one other table at the time; a table of clearly drunk people talking loudly and crudely, as far as displaying nude images to his friends while the server joked and laughed along.
Great service & food
Slow service. Broccoli was barely warm. Scallops were nice and warm but over cooked. Potato soup was fine!
