Went there July 10 for friends birthday, got there at 4:45. Stood at hostess stand about five minutes, the four employees came for behind wall. Hostess seated us,only four other booths were in that section, four servers walked by us several times, not one of them ever acknowledged we there. After 10 minutes we walked out.
Food was great, atmosphere was good and relaxing. Waitresses were very nice and helpful. Manager came by. Sure hope you don’t close Alex City.

This is one of the worse restaurants in Hampton roads. The wait staff act like they are doing you a favor by seating you and taking your order. If they dont like working with the public maybe they should find a new job and I am not talking about the nasty customer that shows up. Just a pathetic establishment
Thursday lunch service leaves a lot to be desired. Regular customer until now
The salad bar is substantial and good. The bar menu has very good selections and very reasonable. Friday nights in season it’s hard to find a parking place .
Always friendly service. Sometimes to fast. I like eating my salad before my dinner plate gets to table.
This place is AMAZING the servers do a great job even when they are super busy never had to wait for drink refills and plates always picked up. And the food was amazing the burgers were perfectly cooked and so was my husbands steak was also cooked perfectly and the salad bar was amazing as well. They even had a special menu for my son who has specific allergies. Will definitely be returning in the future.
