Cute Place Ruby's Diner is a really cute place with vintage Coca-Cola signs everywhere. Pretty crowded during breakfast time as the diner isn't real large. They have typical diner food, but their malts are the very best. A cute and fun place, but nothing stands out on the menu except the malts.
Great Burger Joint Ruby's has great burgers, excellent mozarella sticks, but more impressive are their shakes. Throw the diet out the window and go have yourself a great burger.

great view This is a very cute diner, located at the end of the pier in Oceanside. The decor has a 1950's theme. You can't beat the views, we even saw dolphins playing in the water. The food is good, but the malts are better.
original really nice and original place... they have a healthy menu, and very good service. i take my family there often and my kids love it
Love the Shakes and Fries We adore the shakes, I always get Oreo Cookie, the wife gets Strawberry. The fries are good too, and the service is always friendly and fast! We'll be back for more, no doubt.
Yummy Food! Unfortunately the night we went their gift card processor was out of order, so we came back another day.
Mmmm This place is hard to beat. I'm not sure if Ruby's has been around since the 50's but I'm sure it'll be here a long time. The burgers are tasty and I really like that they stopped using transfats for their fries. My only gripe is that their iced tea could taste better.
Tasty! I love this place. Right on the pier. Great views and food. Definitely a HB landmark. The only downside is that parking can be hard to find downtown. Tip: just park a few blocks away.
