I’ve been seeing Jeff Boyes who works from this space going on over 14 years (not sure of the exact date as my Yelp review of the salon he worked at only says “over 14 years ago”). I’ve recently moved to San Diego and I make sure to make an appointment with him when I need my cuts. Curly hair specialist with a true understanding of curl. He’s scheduled appointments on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Honestly you can’t go wrong with a cut by Jeff.

Lisa Harrington is hands down the best colorist I’ve ever been to. I came in with a pre-wedding hair color disaster, was told by the disaster-creating stylist it was unfixable. Emailed Lisa desperately, and she had me into the salon within the next day. She worked absolute miracles, literally assessing my hair and how to fix it like a chemist. She turned my hair into something better than I imagined. Wont ever go to another colorist in the city!!

Lisa Harrington is AMAZING. I came to her with over-processed hair that had been highlighted too many times and was brassy, uneven, and orange. Lisa was able to convert my hair into a beautiful multi-dimensional ashy blonde. I appreciate that Lisa took her time listening to my concerns and what I hoped my hair would look like in the end. She took her time highlighting and hand painting different pieces of my hair to get the desired look. I am so glad I found Lisa and will definitely be coming back!

Lisa is fantastic. I was referred to her nearly 6 years ago by a friend who had such pretty blonde hair i had to ask if she gets it done or of it is natural because it looks so good. She gave me Lisa’s info and I have been going to her regularly ever since. She always gives me a perfect honey blonde color. I get highlights and a glaze every time and my hair is very healthy . Go to Lisa. You will not be disappointed. I was there two weeks ago and Lisa was extremely conscientious of all safety protocols.
