Rubirosa is a neighborhood favorite specializing in thin-crust pizzas and fresh pastas in a charming space. Our pizzas are inspired by our family pizza recipe that we have been serving in NYC since 1960. We offer an extensive gluten free menu as well as vegan options. Go to the back room, see that wonderful pizza oven.
Good semi-casual Italian, including Pizza.
Ordered a panini and I thought I was getting a hot pressed sandwich but was disappointed.....Eggplant on a bun!! Person in charge was very rude, not friendly and arrogant.
You MUST get the Vodka pizza. Out of this world.
If you like scotch, try the peat doherty!
Their service is just too slow to be a viable lunch spot, regardless of how great their pizza is!
Avoid the table in the back with the a/c over your head.
Come with a few people so you can tour the menu but everything should revolve around the vodka pizza! Other faves incl eggplant parm, stuffed artichoke, Rubirosa salad and tomato ravioli. Mangia!
