I started seeing Yael in 2006 at a time in my life when I saw no hope. She helped me get through that time and see the "light at the end of the tunnel". Over the years I have returned to see Yael and kind of ground myself. I have seen many therapists throughout my life and I had never felt validated and was never treated like I was worthwhile until I saw Yael. She made me feel like I mattered and treated me with compassion and understanding.
Yael was my therapist for a number of years. She helped me gain insight into my behaviors and gave me tools to become healthier. She doesn't just focus on one thing - she is more holistic in her approach, which I really appreciated. She is completely non-judgmental and helped me through some very dark, depressed times, including suicidal ideation. Yael is very open-minded, a terrific listener, and went above and beyond more than once for me. I highly recommend her.
My family and I saw Dr Rubin for over one year and we found Dr. Rubin to be extremely knowledgeable, understanding and caring. She was always there for us and helped us through the most difficult time of our lives. She went above and beyond to help us. Our family member has a good life now, is healthy, strong and has a good job. We just can't say enough good things about her. We always keep her in our prayers, and know she keeps us in her prayers, too. Our family has been blessed to have found her.

She did not have the skills to deal with suicidal ideation and did not tell me this. So when this happened I was expecting help but she did not respond I then I felt like she did not care. And pond me off at a colleague of hours and did not tell me. Very unprofessional
