The short ram air intake I bought for my 2011 hyundai elantra, works exactly like you would expect it to! Better throttle response in lower RPMs and a slight growl too! I fastened my own heat shield out of thin aluminum from Lowe's and that helped even further. The first picture is a stock example. The other three are my car with the short ram air intake and heat shield installed.

I ordered the air intake for a 92 F150 and it got delivered at my automatic front gate and when somebody drove in, the box got ran over and everything was smashed. I emailed the customer service with photos and let them know what happened and if anything could be done and they went ahead and shipped me a replacement for no additional cost. That is exemplary customer service.
