Verry unprofessional and hard to deal with people. I can't use my own transportation company for pickup my personal item. Also charging me sales tax for the item location not for my residence location for online purchase. No confirmation for pickup appointment. No phone number and name of person at pickup. Unbelievable.
I was shopping for equipment online and found something I wanted. I sent an email to the contact person and within a couple of minutes I received an information sheet about the bidding process and the piece of equipment. I called and spoke with Becky and gathered some more information about the process/equipment- Made an offer. It was accepted. Buyer beware!! Unprofessional and unhelpful to say the least. Provided the wrong title when turning over a vehicle and refuse to answer and take accountability.
I have been doing business with RTR for over 10 years buying everything from shop equipment, office supplies, diagnostic equipment and my latest a medium duty truck. They have always been a pleasure to do business with and answer any questions or concerns I have had.
A truly terrible company...... After wiring $23,000 for a piece of equipment they asked for additional documents (promptly returned). They then tried to assess sales tax on our company for an extra $1,100 even though its not applicable. After three days of arguing with the management, they "remembered" that if we had a shipping bill to another state the tax would not be applicable.
