I loved living at 28 e stewart and working w RTK. The complex is a great, small community, parking is free, and there is an easily accessible dumpster. When you create a relationship w RTK, working and communicating with them is easy and quick. Maintenance was ALWAYS on top of their stuff and I never waited too long for issues to be quickly solved. Being able to text your landlord was great.

Our experience at RTK Rentals was awful. Not only did RTK promise ("priority") property to my daughter and her other roommates for a particular house that was not listed, they signed another group (wed) the day before our group was to tour and did not tell them. The tour was given to our group (on Thurs) and was told they could rent the house and to fill out paperwork. We immediately completed the application, sent required financials, paid the fee. Unhappy with our daughter’s experience with this company. Her and her roommates toured a home and had been told it was theirs. We sent in an application fee and gave them personal and financial information. Then we found out the house had already been rented. They never returned my phone call. Very unprofessional and dishonest. Edit: I am getting my application fee refunded

The good… maintenance was on top of it and fixed problems in a timely manner. Jason was always very friendly and helpful. The landlord did let me out of my lease early when I found a house to purchase and that was fantastic. Communication was great until I made them mad… The bad… I overpaid and had to request a refund which I never got. They said they’d mailed it. Still didn’t get it. I had a great experience renting through RTK. The property managers were always super nice and professional and Maintenance was quick to resolve issues and did a great job with repairs. Sarah and Jason were great to work with. The Bass Ave apartments in particular were a perfect home for college students. Very easy walkability to class and downtown. It’s a nice location on the northern part of East Campus and a hidden gem in the area. Our apartment also had great appliances, nice hardwood floors, huge closets, and 5 bathroom... read more
