I've worked for RSV for five years now and I really feel like I've become part of the RSV family. The staff here is very personable and understanding when it comes to needing to work your schedule around a summer class or even vacations which is great! And the owner, Scott, really takes the time to try to get to know all his guards by name. Scott even offers re-cert classes to all of his employees at his own pool. starting off a summer with RSV!?!? Seeing satisfaction from every person having their smiles and giving that around the pool deck, letting us as employees know, we as a TEAM made it happen!?! I've worked with several pool companies and RSV is by far the best! The management team is extremely friendly, efficient, and just overall amazing. I cannot say enough great things about this company.
I've been with RSV for only 2 seasons and that is definitely long enough to adjust to a working experience. I'll be honest, I wasn't very enthusiastic about the whole "working for a company" ordeal, however from the moment I walked through the doors at orientation I felt welcomed by everyone. Worked for RSV since I was 15 years old. Experience with this company has been great. Supervisors are always available when needed. Lifeguards are great to work with. The office does an excellent job communicating with its staff regarding expectations and upcoming events. Would highly recommend sending your teenager to this company if they're looking to lifeguard (RSV even provides certification courses).
The past four years guarding for RSV have been very life changing. As my first job, lifeguarding taught me discipline, how to work with others, and most importantly it allowed me to meet a great community of people who have become life long friends. Thank you RSV staff for all you do!
