My Colonoscopy with Dr. McFarland and Dr. Heller was a positive medical experience from start to finish. I recently had a colonoscopy with Dr. McFarland and Dr. Heller, and the experience was smooth and professional from scheduling to recovery. I had a colonoscopy procedure back in July. I have called 6 times to follow up on my test results, of which that state that I most likely have a medical gastrointestinal issue, and never had anyone follow up, even though they: A. Told me to call them to go over my test results, of which they’re now claiming I have to wait 6 months to just over over the test results, even though the lady at the front desk has said that I just need a nurse to call me back to go over things with me. What do you call a business that provides lousy services? Fired. What do you call a business that was fired for their lousy services but sends you emails anyway, begging for your business? I was 15 minutes late coming from 30 minutes away. Dr Luanne Bianchi would not take me for the consultation. I was her first appointment, her next appointment was due in 1hr 45 min. I was told I could wait that time to see if that person showed up. Im sure the appointment would have been much shorter than that. The office staff were rude and uncooperative. There are many better Gastroenterology practices in rochester, i will take my business elsewhere.
I have been a patient on and off for years at this practice. My doctor seems competent, and the staff has been very good, especially during colonoscopies. I haven't been over there recently, and trying to contact them by phone is almost impossible. You wait on hold 20-25 minutes or more.
