I'm a property owner, not a tenant. I've contacted Royal York repeatedly about three things: the return of my retainer, cancelling my management agreement, and correcting errors in my statements. Extremely disappointing experience. According to my management agreement, my final payout was supposed to be processed within 40–60 days after my agreement ended. It has now been over 90 days, and I am still waiting for my payment. What makes this situation even more concerning is that my online portal shows that my final payout was issued on July 10. SCAM. This company is a scam. I lost $500 , they didn’t showup for inspection and do lousy job, they kept saying the inspection come to do setup for my house but noone showed up. Happened 2 days in a row, i was waiting, no-one informed anything. They tried to get you to deposit $500 (they called it retainer fee) I terminated the process for no-show, i was waiting the entire time. I had an extremely disappointing experience with this property management company. Communication was consistently poor, and their lack of organization made even basic processes unnecessarily difficult. They provided us with the wrong address to return our keys, which caused confusion and wasted time that could have easily been avoided with proper attention to detail.
