As far as window covering services in New York City go, I would definitely recommend Royal Window Treatment. I've dealt with three other companies in buildings that I have managed and none of them can match what Royal Window Treatment is offering. They're the best I've come across.

I had the windows in my apartment handled by Royal Window Treatment. I've got a house in New York City and am pretty busy, so I didn't really have time to shop around much but still didn't want to get ripped off. There are tons of businesses in this city that charge way more than they should legally be allowed. Be Forewarned – Terrible, terrible experience, and in fact a ripoff. Company did the measurements, came up short and then failed to return deposit. And of course there's the fabric i paid for that is now unusable. Be warned, because this is a real experience.
