These guys are rip-offs. Came by because my check engine light was on. They did scans but couldn't find anything. Sales guy convinced me that spending $800 on a transmission fluid change would likely solve the issue. So I paid up and the engine light came back on later. As soon as I pulled up. My Truck was put into a stall for smog check. Price is right. Service is super efficient.
I never do review. However, really want to say something about this place. I went in for a smog. The guy visually failed my vehicle just because there is a crack on one of the vacuum hose. I have to come back the second time with a new hose installed and pay an additional 50%. While sitting there waiting for the vehicle being smogged I have a chance to talk to one of his customer whose vehicle was also failed smog visually. I have taken my car to Royal Smog & Mechanic twice now, first for the smog test, and now again for repairs. Their customer service and good vibes brought me back the second time, and will bring me back again. The whole team is kind, efficient, honest, and they were very quick. They even drove to Walnut Creek to get parts to make sure the car would be ready since they knew I was without one. I have been looking for a fair mechanic since moving to Vallejo several years ago and am so happy to have finally found one.
