The management team has a serious attitude problem. They are nice once the lease is signed, but then you start getting on their nerves when you question something. The rent is $1,685 more than a mortgage. There is no smoking in your dwelling. Also, they have dusty vents.
Avoid The Ridges Apartments Kannapolis. Management and maintenance could do a much better job. The complex looks run down with window air units in some apartments. The entrance to the buildings are just dirt, so when it rains it's muddy. You are threatened with fines in your monthly newsletter and they are on patrol to catch you. You do some of your own maintenance now by changing air filters, you just have to pick them up at the office . Consider a different apartment complex before moving here.
We dealt with many issues with this complex. A large number of ants hills everywhere & never corrected; the tennis courts were disgusting with glass & mold. The playground was horrific the entire time we were there. Ant hills throughout the play area. Spider webs covering the equipment. They told us they were redoing the playground. That took over 7 months and by the time it was redone, we moved out. The tenants above us smoked and were loud at all times of the day. Applied over two weeks ago and still have not gotten the results of my application. I have emailed and attempted to call but you can never reach anyone. I have requested my application fee to be returned due to the unprofessional and untimely manner of handling an application and still have not heard anything. I will be filing a BBB complaint against this company ASAP .
Do you love roaches? Do you enjoy being treated rudely by the management of your apartments? Do you enjoy constantly calling management for repairs, pest control, to have central air repaired on 100 degree days, just to be ignored? How about a pool that was opened late and remains dirty? If so you have come to the right place! This place is absolutely awful! Unfortunately, I live paycheck to paycheck and just can't afford to get up move.
