Dr Patel is very rude, disrespectful and discriminative. I had a very bad experience when she was my PCP and she even talked to me very bad. I had a bad car accident with TBI, facial fractures. Spine herneation and aneurysm. I went to her to get a leave of absence paper and she said, I am unnecessarly getting free money from my work and sitting at home, she will not give to me any leave forms. Aggressive, rude, and uncaring.
Dr Asha Patel is Not A Good Choice to make when looking for a physician. Her office visits range from 5-7 minutes long, regardless of your ailment. She will and has prescribed unnecessary medication on more than one occasion, where I've discovered an active recall or a class action lawsuit for medication she's prescribed for me. I did appreciate that you could tell her what you wanted and she would just write the script no questions asked. I've decided to get another PCP after having Dr. Patel for about 5 years. I don't think she's a good doctor and my past visits have been a waste of time. Every visit with her was extremely short, to which I feel nothing was done or resolved. Also, felt there was a bit of attitude no empathy and that she's only still practices and sees patience just for the money.
