The waiting time in this Emergency Department is absolutely unacceptable. My partner and I have been waiting for over 5 hours, and even though his finger was still bleeding, we were not attended by a doctor. People who arrived after us were seen before us. When we asked the receptionist why, she rudely said they decide who is going to be seen on their own, no matter how long others have been waiting or how much pain they are in. Outing 2. After a few nights of chills, aches & sweats and my head resembling Deadpool with no mask I ventured to Emergency. The staff were exceptionally professional, kind & made me feel at ease, huge shout out to Nurse Daniella with the swift consult, Nurse Emmi - awesome blood work (thanks for the sandwich too, life saver!) & dealing with my bruised avocado skin & hell yeah to Dr Callum for doing a top job doing more blood & keeping me up to date, then a positive prognosis, sort of, time will tell but regardless couldn’t ... read more
