I read a few reviews online where people said this hotel was in a "bad area" or the "ghetto", pretty funny as the area was a nice, middle class... we didn't have a car so walked everywhere day and night and never felt remotely in danger or uncomfortable (the people who say this area is "rough" have clearly never been to Miami... where you can't walk around even the nicest hotels after dark).
