Royal India's decorative connections to both royalty and India are slim, but the food's good and that's what has kept the place in business for years. A favorite with vegetarians, the restaurant features plenty of options for omnivores as well. You'll find all the usual Indian flavors, from simple curries to creamy Chicken Tikka Masala, puffy or crispy Indian breads and fiery Vindaloo options. Outfitted more like a country inn than exotic India, the restaurant is a good spot for casually served, simply good, Indian options. ... read more

Will not go again – We entered the restaurant 20 minutes before the lunch buffet closed at 3 pm. The restaurant only had like 4 tables filled with customers. As we came in we were told to just go in with no escort. One of the waitress goes “just sit anywhere.” When we choose the table we were told we couldn’t sit there because that was for bigger parties but the buffet was going to close in 20 minutes so why did it matter? The waitress was very unwelcoming and we seemed more like a bother so we decided to leave and find anot... read more
yuuummmyyyy – we eat here at least 3xamonth!!!! sooo good!!!! there is nothing here we dontlikebut chicken saag is by far our favorite... the smells of spices lingers in the parking lot and u cant help but have yourmouth water..if you have never tried indian food this is by far the best place you can go to experience it
Royal India Restaurant the best! – Excellent Choice for Authentic Indian Cuisine. We were very impressed with the layout and atmosphere of the restaurant. The Waitresses were all very pleasant and courteous. Service was fast...and the food was out of this world. The Lamb Marsalla was delightful and the Bread with raisins and cashews...was to die for:) I am looking forward to trying the lunch buffet, to get a sample of everything!
Excellent choice for Indian Food – In the mood for a good indian restaurant, we looked online and found the ratings "good" for this restaurant...the only negative comments were talking about slow service..... we went on a Saturday night, found the food excellent, service excellent, came back numerous times to ask if everything was OK or if we needed anything, restaurant and bathrooms were clean, and overall a pleasant dining experience...simply put, will go back again.
great food, horrible service – quite an imbalance the food is very very good, but the service is HORRIBLE !!!!! i would only do take out Woodlands is the best
Their food is true to its origin. Great menu. Pleasant atmosphere. Service need to improve. – We have been here several times. The food is consistently good. We have never had a dish we did not like. The flavors are authentic. The wonderful about the way they serve is that it gives you the opportunity to share with others at your table. The breads are a must to enjoy with the whatever you order. The one negative is the service: it takes a very long time for the server to take care of your orders and are not readily available... read more
Great food – Service : Excellent Price: Resonable Place: Clean Very good food , especially the chicken Tikka.
Terrible service – My fiance and I have both been in the service business so we know how hard it can be. Now as professionals, we spend many nights dining out and have visted many many restaurants in the area...that being said--This was the WORST service we had EVER had. The waitress treated us as if she was doing us a favor by bringing us our drinks and food. Her attitude, which was disinterested at best, rude in reality, ruined the meal. Although the servers at the other tables looked attentive, none of them made an effort... read more
Chicken really dry – The aloo bread was really good but my chicken and my boyfriend's lamb was very dry. I could only get two pieces down and had to take the rest home. The prices were reasonable ($12 for a carafe of house wine) but the service was pretty slow and we asked for water three times before they finally brought it (not good in a spicy indian restaurant!!). They also seemed to have forgotten our food order (which took at least 40 minutes to arrive at the table). I'd go back just for the bread....
