We can not speak highly enough about how all the medical professionals staff and doctors have treated me Bruce Hook since I have been in Tasmania especially the Royal Hobart Hospital, the staff have been so kind and friendly thank you to all of them much appreciated Cheers Bruce
On Friday 8th August around 7.30pm i brought my teenage son into emergency after he fell on the steel wood heater whilst it was extremely hot, he burnt his right forearm and left hand quite badly. From the moment we were triaged right through to the nurses and doctors in the burns clinic we were treated absolutely incredibly, the care everyone gave my son was simply outstanding. You are all absolutely amazing, and I sincerely thank everyone involved. I can't thank you enough.
Unexpectedly found myself in emergency Saturday night. Had surgery 8am sunday morning. Shout out to the nurses for the care I received at K4West. Especially Lucy, clare, Zoe, sanju, Rosie, Jackson and Adam. It was a long stay 4 days and difficult at times but you all helped make my stay more pleasant the care you have for your patients is outstanding. Lucy made me laugh even though it hurt 🤣 thanks again for looking after me.
I came into the ED waiting room at 7pm. By 12:15am I still hadn't seen a doctor but they kindly gave me a bed in the ER ward to sleep in because I was distressed and exhausted and they agreed I did need to be seen as soon as possible. I woke up to no breakfast or food, had to ask twice just to get some juice. I finally saw a doctor around 11am and was informed they had no beds in the ward for me and to come back when I was in a more urgent situation. This hospital has excellent doctors and nurses, and I received very good care during my stay. A special thank you to Physiotherapist Sofia for her outstanding support and professionalism.
