Had a colonoscopy this morning (6th Sept ) The staff were brilliant, Elenore greeted me and put me at ease, had a short wait then met the team fronted by Dr. Andy Cole, again they put me at ease. They are a great team and deserve 10/10. We cannot stress the importance of completing and sending off the testing kits as it can save your life

Excellent care from Mr Atia and Doctor Alshawwaf and the rest of their team today (25/2/25). Gas and air offered made it much more comfortable than previous experience elsewhere. Post procedure care also very good. Happy patient!
Well, all I can say is the Endoscopy Department at The Derby Royal is exemplary! I had an appointment on 11 Jan 2025 for Botox in my Oesophagus for the first time. Due to my Specialist being unfortunately called to a separate emergency, I had a discussion with a Dr James Franklin. I was slightly worried as my original Dr., Dr. Hearing had specifically said he wanted to do the operation, btw, I have Achalasia. Dr. Franklin is one of the Senior Endoscipsts.
