This is probably going to get deleted by this company but had to share. Around 8:45 tonight myself and an entire tour group watched horrible mistreatment of an already exhausted and frightened horse outside of the LaLaurie Mansion. It was a beautiful white horse and a driver with light brown longish hair and a beard. The horse was spooked, exhausted and the carriage was stuck. The driver kept whipping him despite everyone around him expressing concern and telling him to stop. I am absolutely disturbed and disgusted with this... read more

Unfortunately this was a disheartening incident where something spooked Mr. Bingle and as we tried to calm him down, passersby were egging him on and videoing the incident instead. This never happens and we are just as upset about the incident as you are. Please know that this mule was brought right to the stables for some rest, relaxation, as we all need sometimes. Had a great tour with Mark and “Jockamo”. Mark is entertaining and very informative on the area history! Jockamo knows his way around, and isn’t afraid of garbage trucks (inside joke). Had a great time, and was sorry for it to end!
