Great night! After the Chicken Races we hung around for dinner and the Jazz musician (sorry can't remember his name). A must do in the outback. We had a steak and a schnitzel, all was awesome.
A great pub schnitzels were fantastic. The chook races on every night were a great highlight.
Food was fantastic!
We loved our stay at the Royal Carrangarra. The rooms are plain but clean and comfy, beds are totally fine. Two suggestions would be new/renovated shower bases which would give them a much better and cleaner look and some brighter lights in the hallway. Food at the pub was great and the chicken races were hilarious and lots of fun. Ben is a wonderful publican and has the perfect personality to promote Tambo and the childrens charity the chicken races support. Well worth a visit for the whole family.
