My pet was prescribed with Urinary S/O. One day a batch was delivered and for a whole week she was having uncontrollable dhiarrhea, fever, and fatigue symptoms. She refused to eat. This went on for almost two weeks. My doctor could not determine the cause--it was only when I had an 'ah-ha!' moment when I realized it started happening since her new batch of food. I spent a lot of money on blood tests and money on the Vet during this time as well. Very upset.Did research apparently earlier this year or last year they changed u... read more

Royal Canin Persian had been unavailable for some months and when it finally came back in May I was relieved, it was the only cat food my 3 Persians would eat. A month later one of my Cats was itching himself to the point of raw bloody bald patches. I took him to the Vet twice, must of spent around $1000 on him including medications and he was still scratching himself. Then I. noticed he was eating his food weirdly, only using his front teeth. Looking this all up online everything pointed to an allergy, but as nothing had ch... read more

I have been feeding my senior cat the rabbit and pea canned food formula for the last five years. There have been multiple supply chain disruptions during this time. The most recent and egregious has been this year. Food was reformulated, reduced in can size and worst of all, completely unavailable. I now have to switch my 19 year old cat with IBD to another food. For a company that claims to have the well being of pets at heart, this is beyond irresponsible.

My dog has had allergies ever since he was a pup. I started him on the select PR product at his dermatologists recommendation. Last week I received a refill of his normal order of wet food from ********* and I thought it smelled different than normal. I looked at the expiration date and it was 2023 so I thought maybe the smell was because it was “really new” and proceeded to feed my dog. My dog was also diagnosed with CHF and ended up in the ER as a result of this rancid food. Sure he has CHF but it was manageable with medic... read more

Royal Canin decreased their can size from 5.8 oz to 5.2 oz AND increased their prices by an outrageous amount - a jump from $ 36 to $47. When I contacted them, customer services just apologized, but offered no support of any kind. I asked about coupons and was told they only have coupons for dry food. I will need to switch to a different brand, since it has gotten so expensive. I am stuck with having to use the latest order to gradually switch her to something else.

My cat has been eating Royal Canin PV wet food for a long time. It is vet prescribed for cats who require a limited ingredient diet. Without warning or explanation to consumers, RC recently reformulated this SKU and at the same time downsized the can and raised the case price significantly. My cat will not eat the reformulated version. When I asked RC why they said it was for “scientific reasons”. So now I have to find alternative food and am stuck with 2 cases of inedible cat food at $180. What a rip off!!

Dear Dog Lovers, I am a breeder and have been buying RC from their website (30 ib) bag dry kibble, for about 10+ years. In the last 6 months I have placed orders, and the next day receive an email that says my order has been cancelled. What a shame. I can buy a 30lb bag on ****** with no problem (which I have had to do in order to get it). The price on ****** is higher, but that is not what bothers me. I am upset because RC will still accept my order but then cancels it the next day! Something to do with COVID-19 maybe? RC o... read more

I set up an auto shipment for royal canine food. Royal canine had no problem taking my money out of my account but had yet to fulfill my order. When attempting to cancel the shipment I was informed this couldn't be done because the order was being fulfilled, it's going on two weeks and the product hasn't been sent. I'd like a refund given that I don't believe I'm getting my item.

I have been feeding Royal Canin veterinary grade SO + calm for over 2 years with no problems. So when my vet wanted me to change one of my cats to Royal Canin veterinary Satiety food, I did it with no reservations. I changed three overweight cats to this food. After a day, one of these cats started limping and acting very fatigued. Slept a lot and didn’t follow any of her normal routine. A call to the vet said watch her for a day and see. By the next day, the other two cats were behaving exactly the same way. Limping on exac... read more
