After we had our recent inspection, our manager put in a work order to have our smoke detector replaced... Almost a week later, we got a letter from Jackson County Housing Authority saying that we had tampered with it and that if it happens again, we'd be kicked out. We never touched it in the first place and both me and my husband were sitting right there when the maintenance guy replaced it. The apartments are a great size. Rent is reasonable. The on-site manager when I was here was good. The neighborhood went from great to I wouldn't go out for walk after sunset. Drugs and prostitution in the area was unreal and the primary reason I moved. Maintenance of the apartments was horrid and unsafe. On-site management tried to do everything they could.
