We had a mini-split installed on March 2024 and the unit has been working great until one week ago, August 15, 2025. Since Royal Aire states that the unit is warranted for FIVE years I called them about the problem. Scheduled and appointed with a technician, but one has to pay $195 for the person to come and conduct a diagnosis. We got a unit installed from Royal Air Houston July 30th, 2022, financing $6,000.00 for a new unit with an alleged 10 year warranty. Installation was done and all seemed fine. Fast forward to the first hard freeze in October/November 2022 and our Heater was nonexistent. They sent out an install tech not a service tech and he allegedly fixed it. Heater worked no issues. thay will not answer the phone or come repair the a/c unit mine is only 6 months old pluse i had to pay 195.00 for them to tell me what is wrong with it but will not return to fix it has been 3 weeks
