I have been seeing “John the barber” for well over a year now. He has NEVER let me down. Not once. Every single time I go to him, I leave confident and happy. There has not been a single time I didnt like my haircut when he did it. Hes extremely friendly and humble. He knows what hes doing and he does it extremely well. This is how I used to look vs. what I got after the haircut. I asked for a specific style, but it was not followed at all. The cut felt rushed and uneven, and it didn’t match what I requested. For $20, I expected something basic at least done properly. Would not recommend if you care about how your hair turns out.

I’ve cut my own hair for almost a decade because I could never find anyone in the Sault who actually gave me what I asked for. Then I found “John The Barber”. He’s a licensed old-school barber that actually listens, knows what he’s doing and gives you what you want. Showed him a picture, explained what I wanted and got the first haircut in years that I didn’t have to fix myself. Been going to him ever since. Always friendly and fast. He’s usually at the shop Tuesday to Saturday from 9:30–5, just FYI!
