RecommendedThe staff is always friendly and the produce is always fresh. Dennis in the seafood department is one of the nicest people you’ll meet. He always gives us special attention and is so nice to talk to, not to mention buy some shrimp from. Kiddo and I love stopping by the seafood department because of Dennis.
Bobby, in the seafood department, took extra time to talk to my kids today. He pulled out a live lobster, encouraged my 5 year to touch it, and taught us how to tell the difference between a Male and female lobster. This is why I love shopping at Rouses. Won't find that at any other store.

Loving to cook and being immersed in food, grocery shopping is one of my favorite pastimes (don't judge me...=) ) I love perusing the aisles and finding new ingredients! Since moving to The Mississippi Gulf Coast, Rouse's has ALWAYS been one of my favorites, not just for the variety, but also for obscure ingredients that I can't find anywhere else! Terrible place to get crawfish. I bought already cooked ones and they were cold like they came out a fridge. No flavor at all like they cooked them with no seasoning.
Great store with great Management, however the young lady in the deli (raven) would benefit from a "Customer Service" class.
