Our experience here was great! We were displaced because of a housefire and they made sure we had a place to live through the duration. It was pretty spotty on how long we needed the apartment and they worked hard with us and our insurance to make sure we weren't displaced again.
Pros and cons on this complex; Pros: on site parking, undeniably beautiful apartments, convenient location. Cons: pretty much everything else. I lived in this facility for 9 months and while I can't say it was the worst place I have ever lived I'm also not going to miss it. To start; living right off of main street sounds good at first until you realize that you've signed up to hear bar goers screaming every Friday and Saturday night without fail, not helped by the fact that the large "Rountree Apartments" sign at the front ... read more
Average overall. Rent is steep, units are in okay shape considering the age of the building, but could use some work. Struggle getting good communication with management and maintenance requests take a LONG time. On-site coin-op laundry, parking available on first-come-first-serve basis, not always enough room. Central air, dishwasher and garbage disposal in-units. Elevator available, common room and storage units in basement. Common areas are clean. I lived there for several years and it was awesome! I have no complaints about the place at all. Everyone was friendly and willing to meet. If you have a lower car, use the back parking lot entrance as the main one people bottom out on a lot.
