Kevin the owners son of Jim Rott A/C came to fix a back up problem with my A/C. I share a water drain line with my neighbor. When his company came to repair hers they clogged mine. I called the company and he came said he couldn't find the outside drain. He went to my closet took pvc apart to shoppe vac the back up. Said it was fixed. I offered to pay he said no. I had an ongoing AC issue with my compressor. At first I called an AC company competitor who wanted $1400 to put in 2 capacitors that cost maybe $40 to buy. This is literally a 5 minute job and $1400 was a ridiculous rip off. Typical of these AC companies in hot months. I called Jim Rott. They came out the same day, checked the entire system, and replaced the needed parts for less than $200. I will call Jim Rott from now on! They handle other jobs besides AC units. I heard a lot of good things about Jim Rott HVAC but have not personally used them. This review is in reference to a quote that I received from them. I requested a quote for a mini split for our master bedroom to save money at night. Our home is two-story and the master bedroom is the only occupied room downstairs at night, so a mini split makes perfect sense. We used them on 7/6/2024. The front door was installed by others incorrectly apparently. Kevin came on a Saturday to give us a price. It was a small job and he pulled out his tools and fixed the door. It works perfectly. I am upset I didn’t point him to our back doors while he was here. Started thinking of other things I could get him to fix. He will be at our house several more times.
