I had my shower valve replaced by Roto-Rooter after discovering a leak. The repair itself was expensive ($1,630), and after the initial installation I found that the tub spout wasn't sitting properly against the wall. I contacted the original technician after returning from a trip, and he came back promptly and corrected the issue at no additional charge. In April 2026, I experienced a sewage backup in my basement. Your company in Farmingdale, New York , misdiagnosed the issue as a clogged main sewer line. YOUR technician, Richie, never inspected my crawlspace. Instead took the lazy way out and made an assumption to just clear the mainline. I paid for this service then was sold on the fact that my sewer line also needed descaling. More fraud! * I found out later that my actual cast iron pipe was only 2 feet.
