I was not very impressed with Roto-Rooter. I called regarding a backed up kitchen sink. They scheduled an appointment for that evening. The plumber arrived during the scheduled time and was nice enough, but the estimate he gave was super high- a starting price of $360 to snake the drain. We had some calls in to other local plumbers, so we decided to hold off and wait to see what other estimates we received. I'm so thankful we did! They will get the job done.....but prepare to pay. I was given an estimate range to evaluate an exterior drain that seemed to be clogged. The low end was $600 and high end was $1,500. The guy said if he was only here a couple hours it would be $600, but if here the whole day would be at the higher end. OK...so he was here less than 3 hours used the hose and camera they have and the bill ended up being $1,400. Highway robbery if you ask me.
