I ask for an appointment after 4, they say no problem. Get a call at 2 saying the plumber is at my house waiting... Guy takes 2 minutes, says it's going to be $450 when the same company did the same thing for $250 the year before.
This company did work that was not necessary. The so called plumber that came out installed 2- 1/2" pex ball shutoff valves. The worse part about this scenario is the fact that this didn't fix the problem. Nor was it necessary. Then he informed the homeowner that the shower faucet needed to be replaced. He then proceeded to tell them it would cost $ 500.00. Let me recap: $ 285.00 to install 2 shutoffs and the service call. Plus an additional $ 500.00 plus sales tax to install a shower faucet.
