Very disappointed with the check-in process at Rothman’s. I was checking in my daughter, and the kiosk instructed the guardian to scan their ID. I followed the on-screen instructions exactly as directed. When I got to the front after waiting in line, I was told I had to get back in line behind about 20 people and do it all over because I “wasn’t supposed to” scan my ID. I was diagnosed with tennis elbow on May 13th and have also been dealing with bursitis and inflammation in the same elbow. I have been following a prescribed physical therapy plan. After re-injuring my elbow, I contacted Rothman’s scheduling service and was directed to their orthopedic urgent care in Willow Grove for evaluation. After a 45-minute drive, I was told there was no record of my visit in their system and that the location does not provide MRIs, cortisone injections, or pain medication. What a great place. They have a system to get you in and cared for. Everyone was very helpful. Great place if you need immediate care!
Pain is all gone thanks to the great doctors here.
The first mistake is that they don’t have the handheld iPads like other locations they expect you in pain to stand at a kiosk and enter long health information into a less than intuitive system. The first time I did it, they said it didn’t take, and I had to come up to the window and do it again when I returned a week later for the f/u appointment, I was answering the same questions.
