So today I called Rota Dental to obtain some prior records for another doctor. I called this morning and the receptionist at the desk said she would be able to send via email. I agreed & confirmed my email over the phone. Upon time passing, I did not receive anything. I then sent them an email with my Doctor's information, with my signature to authorize the release of my records. The doctor’s office said they still have not received anything. So it's Sunday night and I'm chewing on some sticky candy, when it stuck to the back of a crown. When I managed to get it off and continue chewing I hear a crunch. It's the back of my tooth/crown. Freaking out because I'm leaving 2 days later for vacation. I call Doc Rota first thing Monday morning and they get me in right away. I walked out of Doc Rota's office with a brand new beautiful crown just in time for my vacation. It was an awesome experience. Highly recommended!
Thank you Dr. Rota for the compassion you and your staff showed me. I had an appointment for a consultation and arrived with an abscessed tooth and in horrible pain. My blood pressure was extremely high because I had forgotten to take my medicine due to my extreme pain. Dr. Rota numbed my mouth and sent me home to get my medicine because he was worried about doing any procedure with my blood pressure so elevated. Not very good at explaining that you will have a 3D image and then ask you for $300! When I asked why we aren't billing my insurance, they said, "Oh, they don't cover those images." It would have been nice to know that ahead of time. Especially since they know they don't bill insurance for the 3D Cone image and don't say anything until you check out.
